We had recently put down our 17 1/2 yr old Staffordshire, Whitey, in Feb. We weren’t planning on getting another dog until after the summer. My friend asked me to help her find a dog for her family. In doing that, I stumbled across Doggie Bonez and was drawn to a dog for us. I finally decided to call the phone# listed expecting to get vm on a Saturday afternoon while sitting in the Costco parking lot and Jackie answered. We had a nice conversation, I cried because I was missing our dog and the house being too quiet and coming home to nothing waiting for me to cuddle and get kisses from when I’ve had a challenging day at work with the special needs kids I work with at a school. So, we talked about a couple of dogs. Two days later, we met with two dogs and we gravitated to Cammi. She was such a perfect match for us. She was sooo playful and loving and wanted to be loved too. I can’t believe we lucked out with her! She loves her walks, car rides, visiting my mom and my in-laws, and going to my son’s cross country meets at the park. Our friends and neighbors have loved meeting her and think she’s so well-mannered and beautiful. She has adjusted to her new home nicely and uses the doggie door with ease. We can’t thank you enough Jackie for introducing us to Cammi. We finally upgraded the old rundown family room couch to a new 3-recliner couch with her blanket on it and call it Cammi’s couch. Please don’t stop what you’re doing for these precious furbabies. …you’re their voice and savior. 💕
