Zeus is a gorgeous 1 1/2 year old male French bulldog that was an owner surrender due to him working long hours and not being able to care for Zeus. He’s a sweet, affectionate frenchie, but since he wasn’t socialized with other dogs, we think he may do best as the only dog in the home. He did have a friend he would meet out on walks, but, they never played off leash. Zeus would also do best with older kids as he may jump, and could knock a young child over. Zeus is potty trained and will sleep in his crate well. He may need a few days to decompress to a new environment and he may bark initially, but will settle in once he feels secure. He loves going on walks and since he was raised in an apartment, he got used to going on three walks a day. Having a home with a yard would be amazing for Zeus as he loves to run and play. His favorite toys are nylabones or Kong toys. We think Zeus was crated more than he should have been and he does love having his loved ones around and will look for you when you leave the room. We encourage Zeus’s adopter to provide him with structure, stability, consistency, love and training to set him up for success. He deserves a loving home that will give him the love and attention he deserves. A family that is familiar with the French bulldog breed would also be amazing for Zeus.
