I Found My Forever Home!
Penny was adopted from the Orange County Shelter back in October. She is an owner surrender due to a health issue and he must move back in with his parents. Penny is a gorgeous Chestnut colored Boxer mix. She is very affectionate and loves her family. She does take a moment to get to know strangers as she is protective of her home, but after one visit, she considers them part of the pack.
Penny loves to be around her family at all times. She loves to play tug-of – war with her rope toy, and she loves chew toys.
She is crate trained, and goes into her crate willingly. She likes the security and comfort of the crate.
Penny has had some brief and basic training with a professional trainer. She sits, pees and poops on command. She is very smart, as the trainer said she will pick up new commands very quickly.
One of her favorite pastimes is going for a ride in the car. She will sit in an empty passenger seat or passengers lap quite contently.
Penny doesn’t require a yard. In fact she does not like being outside alone. She would rather go for daily walks and then come back inside and cuddle up next to you.
Penny is an affectionate pup, who just craves attention and to be loved.
She is best as the only animal in the home free of other dogs or cats.
