Lilly is a female, Blue Nose Pitbull rescue who is estimated to be 3-5 years old. She is very healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and potty trained.
She knows the commands sit, come, lay down, roll over, and high five. She is very playful and affectionate. She loves to give high fives, play fetch, and tug of war. She wants to be lying down next to you whenever she’s given the chance. She’s so attentive and curious about everything her human is doing.
Lilly is very shy and timid, but very friendly with people. She does need time to adjust to new situations/people. When she meets new people, she paces back and forth and may bark quietly out of nervousness. Once a new person sits on a couch, she’ll run up to you and start to kiss you, give you high fives, and allow you to pet her. She is a very sweet dog who cares about doing well.
She’s had a very rough life prior to being rescued about two years ago. The shelter that Lilly was rescued from was overflowing with dogs. She was attacked by other dogs at the shelter twice in the same week, and as a result, she has scars on her front arms and face. Because of her history, she is very nervous around other dogs and will act aggressively.
She is scared of kids (attempts to run away/pulls on leash), and has never been in a home with kids. She needs a loving and experienced owner who has a yard and no other pets.
