This is Henry!
Henry is a 14-month-old, male, American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. He has been vetted, vaccinated, and is neutered. This happy pup has had a rough start but is doing better and is healthier than ever.
He was rescued off the streets of L.A in horrible condition and was even suffering from nystagmus; an involuntary eye movement. We got him vet care and then went to a neurologist. It was there that he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease/ meningitis. He received treatment while at the neurologist for a week and is now on oral medication, which we hope will taper off. He looks better and is healthier than ever.
Henry is a happy young dog; he’s pretty chill and prefers short walks and just relaxing with his loved ones. He’s in desperate need of a forever home or foster. Henry has been amazing with his current foster family who cannot keep him much longer. He loves being loved on, especially loves belly rubs and loves laying on the couch while they are there working. He isn’t a big walker and prefers being an indoor dog and around his “people”.
An adult family would be best as we have not seen him around kids. He has some quirks, but he’s getting better every day and opening up more and more. He is a complete love bug.
