Fargo was adopted 10 months ago from another organization. He was not housetrained, he couldn’t walk on a leash and had not been exposed to anything. He basically had been an outdoor dog that had no love, nor any real contact with the outside world.
His current owner cannot keep him due to a family health issue where she must be the primary caregiver. She can’t care for Fargo or give him the attention that he deserves.
He is an awesome loving dog who is great in a home, loves kids and good with other dogs.
He is good with kids, other dogs, and adults. He does very well with cats as well, but not all cats appreciate his snuggling-be-my-best-friend attitude.
Fargo does well with a regular schedule, he can be difficult to walk (at first) but as he familiarizes himself with an area he memorizes his walking path and walks well. He prefers to pee privately (often around the corner from me).
He has some mild anxiety, that primarily manifests in “agoraphobic” ways. He avoids the outdoors and long walks, peeing publicly, or eye contact. His response is generally timid and avoidant. However, he loves long car rides and face-snugs, and his favorite thing to do on a weekend is a good Netflix binge.
