Parker is a handsome 5-month-old Boxer mix with a whole lot of love to give. He was rescued from a homeless encampment where a different dog was originally being rescued, but then he came out of nowhere begging the rescuers to save him, too! He is currently getting basic puppy training and has learned sit, down, stay, leave it, come (“touch”), and drop it (almost!). He loves hard and will want to be by your side, absolutely any chance that he gets. Despite being 30+ pounds and growing, he will climb up onto your lap for snuggles. He would do great in a home with another dog similar in size, as he could play with a friend all day! Beach days, grocery runs, hikes – Parker loves to do it all with his person.. and pick up all the sticks he can find along the way! He is friendly towards other people/dogs and is excited and curious about the world. Parker loves to sleep in his crate, is house trained, and is gaining more and more confidence everyday. He has become the most loyal best friend to his foster in such a short time! This sweet pup has had a rough start to life and is ready to have a family of his own to give him the stability and lifetime of love that he deserves.
