My name is Boone I’m a 3 1/2-year-old male Shepherd mix who was rescued from a kill shelter in Riverside four months ago. I’m a sharp little fella having been on the streets as a transient dog most of my life. I currently live in a large family setting; with 3 furry brothers & sisters (2 cats and a dog) and 4 human companions. My foster family says that I’m great with older kids, and get along with other dogs. You can say that I’m more suited for a family that can devote attention to me without any distractions from other animals. I love my new life as an indoor dog. I’ve been potty trained and have no signs of behavior issues when left alone. I respond well to training with treats, have my simple commands down, and am great on a leash. I haven’t been crate trained. Managing my emotions around cats has proven difficult in my new home. I’d make a great companion for someone who enjoys daily hikes and walks.
