I Found My Forever Home!
Dax was on the Euthanasia list at a high kill shelter, when we received the call to rescue him. He is just a puppy between 4-6 months old. Dax was found to be severely abused, neglected and a bit withdrawn. He was kept in a cage for long periods of time, starved and physically beaten.
He has been in a foster home learning the ropes of life. When he first arrived, he was shut down and withdrawn. He did not know how to receive any attention. Everything is new to this boy. Cars, bikes, trucks, walking on a leash and even new people and animals are new to him.
Dax is learning how to walk on a leash, meet new people and experience new situations.
Dax will need a person who is patient and understanding of his situation. He has come so far in just a week. He will do great in a home that is quiet, calm and tranquil. We have not socialized him with other dogs yet, but we feel he may do better with another animal to teach him the ropes.
Dax should not be in a home with kids. Dax would thrive with someone who works from home and can give him the time and attention that he needs to decompress from his stressful living conditions.
He is very small weighing only 23 pounds. He is mix of Staff, Jack Russel and Cattle Dog.
Please open your hearts and home for this love. You can also find him on our social medial pages at Doggie Bonez Inc and Doggie Bonez Rescue
