Roxy is an Australian Cattle Dog (possible Shepherd mix), around 3 ½ months old. She was brought home by someone who couldn’t keep her and was surrendered shortly after. Roxy had her first puppy check-up and the first round of vaccines at the vet. She received an all-around clean bill of health. Roxy’s been living with a foster family for the past two weeks and receiving lots of love, care, training, and socialization in their home. She is adorable and affectionate. Roxy loves all people and receiving belly rubs is her favorite. She’s also incredibly smart! Like in, she already learned basic commands and knows to use her “potty spot”. Roxy is not shy AT ALL. She loves to be the center of attention and was instantly comfortable in her new foster home. Roxy is learning to share with her foster brother and loves to wrestle and play… however, she has far more stamina than he has, and her puppy teeth are a little too sharp for her Frenchie friend at times. She would love another energetic dog to play with and will need lots and lots of exercise, as this is a high-energy breed. So a yard and an active family would be best for her. Her foster family also has a cat. The cat has not warmed up to her yet, but Roxy is being patient and trying to make friends. I think she’d do fine in a home with a cat, as long as they were introduced slowly. This puppy is incredibly special and deserves a safe home and a loving family who understands the needs of her active breed.
