Meet Rex! No, not T-Rex, but Adventure Rex!
Rex is a 2 1/2-year-old male Hound/Beagle mix ( looks like a shepherd mix). He’s approximately 40 pounds and very well behaved in the house. He’s potty trained and will go in a crate if you want him to, but he will sleep perfectly well on his dog bed outside of the crate. Rex is very lovable and loves to get attention. He loves to lay with his loved ones and will roll right onto you. Rex also will talk to you with friendly moans and whiny barks. He thoroughly enjoys his walks and he would be a great hiking buddy. He knows some commands like sit, lay down, come, down, and takes his treats gently.
He is a little shy upon first meeting but will be your best friend shortly thereafter. He enjoys bones and loves his biscuits. He would enjoy having a dog-friendly playmate as he lived with a four-legged sibling and is currently in a foster home with another dog. Rex is a bit of a door dasher, so he will dart out if a door is left open. In this case, he would do better with older kids. Families with kids will have to make sure not to leave a door or gate open.
NO Cats…whatsoever.
If you are an active family that would love to take Rex on long regular walks, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab, so that we can schedule a meet and greet. He is
