Babs was found in an industrial park with her buddy Boots. Babs is a CoonHound/ Staffie Mix. She is approximately 5 years old. Hope for Paws was contacted to catch and rescue Babs and Boots from an abandoned industrial park in Los Angeles. They were being watched over and occasionally fed by grounds keepers, but essentially they were living as strays. The two dogs had come to rely on one another and were attached.
Boots was adopted right away, but Babs had to go to the vet to be spayed. It turned out when she was examined she had been spayed but had a lot of scar tissue causing her pain. She was kept at the vet for a week to heal and then sent to training in Los Angeles which is where she is now. She is a sweet dog but she is learning to trust and socialization with new dogs.
She is incredibly smart and playful. She learns quickly. She enjoys her time playing, learning, and exploring her new surroundings. She loves belly rubs, eating her treats and playing outside on the agility course.
She is approximately 60 pounds. She has all of her vaccinations, spayed and up to date with all medical care. She is great with people. We have not introduced her to children or cats. She responds well to both men and women.
